Ch. 01-A et seq., I am requesting an opportunity to inspect or obtain copies of public records referred to in the June 10 Mason Select Board meeting by Debra Morrison, which she called "nasty emails, letters, notes" exchanged among personnel in the town offices. Specifically and inclusive of any emails, letters, notes or other correspondence written by, from, or signed by any Select Board members to town employees between Oct. 26, 2013 and April 14, 2014. If there are any fees for searching or copying these records please inform me if the cost will exceed $10. It is our position that generating these materials for inspection is the town's cost of doing business, and we do not expect to pay to view these materials, either in print or in digital format. I would also like to request a waiver of all fees in that the disclosure of the requested information is in the public interest and will contribute significantly to the public?s understanding of the instability within the Mason town offices. This information is not being sought for commercial purposes. The New Hampshire Right to Know Law requires a response time of five business days. If access to the records I am requesting will take longer than this amount of time, please contact me with information about when I might expect copies or the ability to inspect the requested records. If you deny any or all of this request, please cite each specific exemption you feel justifies the refusal to release the information and notify me of the appeal procedures available to me under the law. Thank you for considering my request. Sincerely, Dylan Fisher Reporter Monadnock Ledger Transcript dfisher@ledgertranscript.com 603-924-7172 ext. 235
