March 28, 2015 9:00 a.m. – The town web site indicates that the Easter Bunny has rescheduled to April 4. Guess he doesn’t like snow.

The Gazette found this lovely April 4, 2015 comment related to this event on one of those sites apparently not yet chronicled by google. We duplicate it here for posterity:

Who lets their dogs poop on the town common? While setting up for the children to do Easter Egg hunts this AM, we had to spend about a half hour cleaning up poop around the gazebo. Good thing we had a shovel, or the little kiddies would have had to walk through all of it. You know who you are…shame shame.

Perhaps coincidence, but Linda O’Grady’s comments seem to have spilled over into neighboring towns:

“Surveillance cameras, increased enforcement and additional signs are all on the table to deal with dog excrement left behind on the [Jaffrey] common” (source Monadnock Ledger).

Perhaps more of these would help?
