More Town Employee Adjustments

The Ledger-Transcript reports that the retirement for Administrative Assistant Barbara Milkovits has come early; and it’s not being called a retirement, it’s now called an “employment separation”. Chairman Moser is quoted as saying “We haven’t signed the dotted line, yet. We expect to finish that up by end of the week.”

We chose not to comment until the peace treaty is signed and new rules of engagement are clear.

Curiously, at that very same July 22 meeting the selectmen entered non-public session under RSA 91-A:3 II (d) “consideration of the acquisition, sale or lease of real or personal property”. The copy of the brief minutes we have are not checked as sealed, and the discussion is about the retirement of Mason’s stipended Fire Chief and salary structure during that interval for his successor. We call it another employee soon to be gone.
