Zoning “Petition” Advances

According to a post on the town web site, the Mason Planning Board will receive a report Wednesday March 30, by selectmens’ representative Louise Lavoie, to “discuss a proposed Zoning Ordinance amendment from the Board of Selectmen, which would require a Special Town Meeting.”

This is followed by a bold “This is not a Public Hearing“, so we suspect that if anything, only a date for said hearing is going to be set (or not).

Since this amendment is being promulgated by the selectmen, we wonder if the planning board and town meeting will just step in line to support Marty’s Driving Range, or if at some point the sparks will fly.

Pickety Place might benefit from an outdoor music venue too?
